Yes!  You read correctly – win chocolate for a YEAR!  This prize value is $1,200 and the Food Network is giving you a chance to win this!

All you have to do is guess how many chocolate chips are in this jar and you could win a year’s supply of chocolate!

Hint:  The jar is 6.75″ in high and 4.75″ in wide!  The website doesn’t give you this hint, but their magazine edition does!  Just trying to help you! :)

    I filled out the form, including my guess, and on the confirmation page, I saw a message that thanked me for my guess, and said I would receive my first Food Network magazine in the mail in 4 to 6 weeks, and would be billed $18!! I didn’t see anything on the page that mentioned anything about subscribing to the magazine by submitting a guess. Very shady on the part of Food Network magazine!

      Hi Coleen. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t see the subscription statement above the contest entry form. It was pretty obvious for me. You do NOT have to pay the $18. As the notice said, simply mail the notification back having marked it “CANCELLED”. I see they have a different link for entering if you do not want to do the trial subscription. This was also mentioned above the entry form, so I’ll change the link above to the non-subscription one in case others overlook this as well. Thanks for letting me know!

    Laura,

    After I saw the “thanks for subscribing” confirmation, I immediately clicked back to the entry form, because I didn’t remember seeing anything about a subscription, and there was nothing. I read the entire page, top to bottom. Nothing about a subscription.
