Looking for Sandals? Try SKECHERS "Bikers- Excursion" Sandals

I’ve worn SKECHERS shoes for years and recently bought a pair of their “Women’s Bikers – Excusion” sandals for myself and my daughter, as seen on the right here.

My daughter and I both agree they’re VERY comfortable sandals and stay on our feet no matter how fast we walk or how we move our feet.  We’re both very hard on our shoes, so this is a major plus.  My daughter even discovered they’re waterproof when she air-dried them after watering the plants (and her shoes) in our garden.  They didn’t suffer any water damage.

One thing I don’t like about these sandals is the dark brown color of the pair I got .  The store I bought them at didn’t have the lighter brown color that I now see is available online.  Next time I’ll get this color since the dark brown really calls attention to my pale feet.  Too much contrast between my pasty white feet and the dark brown.  Haha!!!  I’m sure this will change though as the summer progresses and I get some color on my skin.

My daughter and I also noticed these sandals really aren’t for long distance walking.  I mean, they are SANDALS, not walking shoes after all.  As I said they’re very comfortable shoes, but after a bit of walking it becomes apparent they are rather “flat” and our feet started to hurt a bit.

Overall, I highly recommend these SKECHERS sandals for anyone who isn’t into a pair of cutesy pie, fancy little dainty sandals that are only for appearance’s sake.  These shoes are more for functional purposes.  They keep your feet cool, perhaps not as cool as ones with less material on them, but they do the job.  I look forward to putting on these sandals each sunny, hot day and I suggest you try on a pair the next time you are in the market for sandals.

LESSON LEARNED: Research online for different shoe colors before buying the only one available in the store.
