What’s the matter with me? I’m addicted to the Internet. BIG TIME!!! I can’t get off it to save my life. I’d rather surf the Internet or research this whole Social Media thing that’s all the rage nowadays, than to go out in the sun. OK, I do get out of the house and play badminton with my daughter, work in the yard or lay in the sun, but once I turn on my computer, I can literally surf the Internet for HOURS!
I’m chalking up this addiction to my goal of finding a way to make money online so I don’t have to work out of the home. I’ve been trying to do this for YEARS! Almost SEVEN to be exact. I also think my need to surf the Internet comes from my need to find out what’s going on in the real world, other than what I deal with at work. In an effort to save money my husband and I don’t subscribe to the newspaper and I almost NEVER watch TV. BORING!!! I work full-time and then some (with a commute to boot), so being on the Internet is so very different from what I do at work. My work consists of very heavy computer use and some MAJOR paper shuffling. That being said, we are strictly forbidden to surf the Internet. ACK! Therefore, I crave it when I get home.
I find surfing the Internet and visiting the popular social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter to be a great outlet after being at work all day. Still, I need to curb my addiction. I need to spend more time with my family and less of it on this blasted computer!
OK, I feel better for having vented that. Thanks for listening.
LESSON LEARNED: Spend more time with my family.

How soon will you update your blog? I’m interested in reading some more information on this issue.
Thanks. I try to add at least one post a week, but would love to have the time to post more often. Keep checking back and I hope I don’t let you down.
